Essential oil vapouriser

Does anyone know how safe these are to use?

Some sources say no essential oil in the first trimester. Others say some should be avoided and others are fine. Others say as long as they aren't applied to your skin directly they should be OK...

I'm 10 weeks and got one for Xmas, put it on before I realised. It smells amazing and is helping my nausea but I will pack it away if I have to. Usually an avid scented candle/incense burner but my nose has gone a bit funny to the ones I have at the minute.

Ginger or chamomile should be OK.
I love the smell of ginger oil.

Lavender is fine too.
