12 weeks pregnant and I think I have flu

So I've been floored since Tuesday. My husband went down with it on Sunday night and I picked it up on Tuesday. Since we have been confined to the house....no energy, cough, sore throat, head ache, blocked nose, temperature, loss of appetite. I've been taking paracetamol which has controlled the temperature and I've made sure I'm drinking enough fluids.
I don't think there's anything else I can do. I've got my 12 week scan and screening tests tomorrow, do you think I should see if I can postpone it to next week or just take paracetamol and get through it. I'm worried about the baby so would like the reassurance that it's ok but not sure if my condition would effect blood tests etc?

It shouldn’t affect anything. See how you’re feeling. You don’t want to pass it on to anyone else x

I got flu when 17 weeks and was admitted to hospital and was given the antiviral drug tamiflu. See how you go but I'd get seen by a doctor if it goes on too much longer:

I was told the only risk to the baby is if your fever is out of control so if paracetamol is keeping that at bay you'll be just fine. The tamiflu just reduces the time you have it for but it sounds like you are hopefully through the worst of it.

If it was me I'd rearrange your scan as you might not enjoy it as much if feeling rubbish!

Worth phoning your midwife for advice about Tamiflu

You should get seen possibly, and avoid places where other pregnant ladies are, as you can easily pass it to others. I'm with the flu at the moment, been to the hospital yesterday. I'm thinking to phone again today as I can't drink almost anything today.

I would ring the antenatal clinic in the morning and ask their advice. Better not to risk spreading it to other pregnant women.

Yes I think you're right, I'll give them a call tomorrow for some advice and to rearrange my appointment.
