Nausea

I'm 5.6 weeks and my nausea is not great right now. It kicks in between 12-2, and again between 6-8. I can't stand the smell of any cooked food, so I stick to crackers and fresh fruits. Can someone reassure me that the nausea will not get worse over the next coming weeks? 😩 and is there anything I can do to reduce it if it does? I work full time and do not plan to tell them for a while..

Unfortunately nausea tends to be present for all first trimester usually, and longer for some.

This pregnancy I suffered more than others but managed to learn what was helping me to keep it at bay. Although o lot of days I'll just need to lay down as I was rubbish. I work part time thou.

Unfortunately mine got worse up until about 10 weeks and then started to get better at about 12 weeks and was gone by 14 weeks. But it varies so much between individuals.
To be honest just be glad that you only have nausea and aren't actually vomiting all day long, as many women do.

I've had constant, 24/7 nausea since 6 weeks (now 15+2) and it's only eased slightly. Not a minute goes by that I don't feel sick but it's generally at a lower level most of the time now. Hoping it vanishes soon! Only thing that helps me is eating little and often (despite not being hungry). Take lots of snacks to work and keep them in your drawer/bag. Hope if passes quickly for you x

I'm afraid it might be around for a few weeks yet. But you'll probably find you'll wake up one day and it'll be gone! Just eat little and often even when you're not hungry and carry snacks around. My sense of smell was heightened during pregnancy and couldn't open the fridge without gagging Envy
