Pregnant and living overseas- struggling

I’ve been reading threads for a long time but felt it was time I finally joined.
I’m 22 weeks pregnant and conceived with my husband through fertility treatment. We’ve been living in New Zealand for a year now and had the fertility treatment whilst here. Once finding out I was pregnant we decided to stay in New Zealand for the pregnancy, mostly because we felt settled here and also the main reason for us coming was so my husband could spend more time with his family (he has lived overseas for 12 years). Whilst initially I was fine with the decision to stay, as time has gone on I’ve begun feeling really resentful about being here and desperately miss my family (particularly my mum) and my friends. I’ve noticed that I’ve started becoming really nasty and i feel really resentful towards his family, partly because I feel like they are constantly giving advice but also because my husband seems to listen to them without questioning (his sister has recently had a baby). There is still the option of going back to the UK but have committed to staying and the financial upheaval would put us under too much pressure.
I am also aware that some of my anger and resentment could be quite hormonal and I’m not doing a very good job of biting my tongue.
Does anyone have any advice about how to get through this? I really don’t like taking it out on my husband but I’m quite isolated here and so I don’t really have friends on hand to talk to.
