Bleeding 6 weeks 5 days

Hi all,

I’m 6 weeks , 5 days pregnant. On Sunday evening I got sharp cramp and spotting. Last night I got blood when I wiped , this has continued through today - not heavy but still there.
I had a miscarriage in July at 6 weeks and concerned it’s the same again.

Any advise would be welcome

@Sophieeeee I haven't got any advice unfortunately. Can you maybe speak to your GP about it? I hope it's all good.

I would suggest calling your nearest early pregnancy assessment unit. They may get you in for a scan/examination. I hope everything is OK. X

Hi @Sophieeeee sorry you are going through this, as others have said I think you should call your nearest EPU today. They may bring you in for a scan, specially with the sharp pain to make sure everything is in the right place.

I think it’s a MC but I may be wrong. I’ve messaged my midwife.

Hope your OK op! I'm hoping it's not another miscarriage for you. Keeping fingers crossed.
I had alot of bleeding when I wiped through first trimester, it was a worry, luckily baby was OK though. Midwife said some bleeding can be common and nothing to worry about. I hope that's the case with you too.

I filled a pad over night, I wasn’t concerned when it was just when I was wiping.

I’m wondering if they will investigate as 2 within 6 months means there’s a problem.

Hi all,
Just an update , went to get checked today , had an internal examination , cervix is closed and bleeding is mild so need a scan to determine.
Has anyone had this and had good news ?.

I had a call late last night from the Hospital and they’ve said my HCG levels are at 1500 so can’t scan, need to go back tomorrow for another blood test to see if the levels go up.

@Sophieeeee how did you get on? Currently going through the same thing, going to a and e tomorrow first thing 😔

Sadly my levels decreased so it’s another MC. I hope this isn’t the same for you.
