Ovulation Test

Hey!

First of all apologies if I sound very silly!

My partner and I are trying for a baby!

My period didn't come so thought I would buy a test. Turns out I bought an ovulation test!

Can someone please explain this result to me?

Ps love this site, wanting it to be a surprise when it happens so can't really turn to anyone for advice. 🎄

You are not ovulating. When the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line you will ovulate in the next few hours to days.

Occasionally a positive OPK (ovulation predictor kit) means pregnancy however you should only go by an actual pregnancy test. If you can go out and get a couple today before all the shops close then try again in the morning with that with your first wee of the day that'll give you a proper result.

Hi OP - I've just seen that you've made a few threads about this result. You do need to go and get some real pregnancy tests as this OPK wont tell you anything conclusively however many times you ask. Again - hope for all the best for you! Star
