early pregnancy and so anxious

Any reassurance welcome...
I just feel more anxious now than when I was going through IVF.

My biggest worry is the decorating we had done last week. There is still a smell of paint and gloss upstairs. I don't sleep there, sleep downstairs with windows wide open. No smell in kitchen or living room - doors are kept closed and windows are open. My DH is frozed all the time : ) I'm 5wks. Every day I freak out about something different. Yesterday we were in the city and it was the city fumes.

After losing two previous pregnancies I'm terrified.

much love
Mx

I didn't think modern paints etc had any impact whatsoever?

Just try & relax...keep calm...thats the best for you & your little baby :)

My mum always says....dont worry until there is something to worry about.....so true!!! xx

It will get easier, it will get better, and you’ll start to enjoy every day more and more, I promise you.
I was told I would never have children, and when I unexpectedly feel pregnant I spent far far too many days crying with worry, hyperventilating before any scan as I was filled with dread.
Take each day as it comes xx

I also wonder if the hormones are playing a part in this...I haven't been ok for months, and normally am very happy go lucky. I have to take estrogen and progesterone every day, and they are high doses...just can't stop crying and need someone to help or understand xxx

Hormones will most likely mean that you spend the next 278303027 years crying randomly. I was a very ‘hard’ person who rarely cried, but since I fell pregnant I cry at so many pointlessly random things. But I promise that as you progress through your pregnancy it will get easier; your 12 week scan will make you breath a sigh of relief, the 20 week one will have you smiling so much, and that first kick will offer you so much reassurance. But please, if you do find yourself too overwhelmed, call the midwife team and have a chat x

Thank you all so much for answering...I just can't stop crying today, it's Christmas Eve and I should be enjoying it with my DH. He's being very good, understanding about the windows..etc..
It's just lovely to know there are other mums / mums to be who have felt the same xxx
