Severe pain in lower back/ right bum cheek

Hi all,
33+1
I went shopping yesterday and was walking around for a couple of hours (kept sitting down every so often.
My pelvis area has been playing me up a bit lately and hurts when I walk etc, but yesterday we got stuck in traffic for 3+ hours on the way home and that seemed to make things a lot worse!
Today I can’t walk at all without limping, walking up and down stairs makes me want to cry.
Most of the pain is in my bum cheek, anyone had this before? I don’t feel I have done anything drastic as such to pull a muscle or do any damage but obviously I have :(

Any tips? I don’t know whether resting will make it worse? Is this one for the GP and maybe even Physio?

Any help would be appreciated x

Sounds like Sciatica. See your GP.

Or ring 111 tonight for assessment if the pain is severe.

Sounds like sciatica. Defo see ur GP and ask for physio referral asap. If u have private medical health, can i suggest private physio massage which will help.

It could be sciatica but if it doesn't carry on below the knee and you are pregnant it is also likely to be sacroiliac joint pain, which is hip joint pain.

It feels really similar to sciatica but as said doesn't usually go below the knee. I also get it intermittently in this pregnancy and it is very painful so I feel for you :(
