Spotting over a week

Hey guys,

So I got my BFP yesterday morning and the test line was darker than the control line and showed instantly. I did another one during the day to confirm it and it was positive aswell.

For the past week and a half I've been spotting (very lightly) brown/light pink and occasionally light red. But it's only noticeable when I wipe.

I'm getting very mild twinges and I barely notice them.

Can I hear success stories please as I'm panicking I'm miscarrying as it's my first child.

TIA 😊

Firstly congratulations on your pregnancy!
At 12 weeks I bled bright red blood, went for a scan and sonographer said it is just one of those things sometimes and there is no reason for it.

It could be implantation bleeding. The cramps could be your body changing and stretching slightly. Contact your local EPU for reassurance though ☺️

I had similar, pinky colour on wiping and this went on until 21 weeks - had Dd2 at 39 weeks. I’d previously had a MC and it was different...as in bright red blood and more like a light period ifykwim

Good luck and don’t lose hope

Dd2 has jyst gone to work 😊 so I’m awake already

For some it's normal and for some it isn't... Brown is usually old blood so probally normal and if you are not getting pains with it then I would say nothing to worry about but no one can say 100% you need to contact your local Epu or a midwife etc and ask for professional advice x
