Hi, does anyone know of any helplines I could call to speak to someone at this time? I am really struggling. I will call my midwife tomorrow but I need to speak to somebody sooner as I'm feeling quite desperate.

When pregnant with DS1 I walked into the prenatal assessment unit at the hospital I was booked to give birth in and told the triage midwife how I was feeling, could that be an option?

Xiaoxiong · 23/12/2019 21:02

(That was at 3am as far as I remember)

You could go to A and E if you feel desperate, they see patients that have mental health needs as well as physical. If not ring the samaritans maybe, they’re available 24/7 and are happy to talk about anything. Hugs x

Samaritans 116 123

Hope you’re ok OP and got to speak to someone.
111 always an option or as PP said, ring Triage or walk into the maternity unit you are booked into.
Hugs x
