Hi,

FTM here!
Hard to describe but over the past few days I keep getting pain in my pubic bone area. Sorry for TMI but it feels almost like a trapped nerve in my outer labia. It get worse as the day goes on and hurts when walking especially when walking upstairs.

Has anyone else had anything like this? My first thought was SPD but this isn’t really in my hips/pelvis

Should I see my GP or speak to my midwife first?

Thanks all

It's spd. I felt like I'd been kicked in the crotch (perineum specifically). Get yourself to a pregnancy osteopath ASAP!!! A list of top tips is on the pelvic partnership website.

I went to an osteopath 6 months postpartum who is convinced she can keep me off crutches if I get pregnant again...

Any money you spend will be well worth it in the long and short run!!!

Damn I was really hoping it wouldn’t be SPD as it feels far too early in my pregnancy to be suffering!
Thanks so much! Will deffo try and get in touch with an osteopath ASAP!

Mine first started about 11 weeks. I was on crutches by 28 and housebound by about 34. I was told nothing could be done, but when I finally saw the osteopath, she set me straight.

Good luck!
