Sorry for TMI but... watery discharge??

Hi all. I'm 25 weeks today and I've had a few instances where, if i don't wear a panty liner, my underwear is getting really wet and uncomfortable and I'm having to change my undies. Sorry i know that's gross. I've just been putting it down to increased discharge but then yesterday had a panic that it could be leaking amniotic waters... it's not constant and only noticed it a few times - I assume if it was leaking waters it would either be a gush or a constant trickle... Anyone else had this? Should I phone midwife or do you think it's nothing to worry about?

Op always get a professional opinion with things like this. There's probably a perfectly reasonable explanation but always check. They may test the fluid to see what it is. Good luck x

Definitely check with your midwife. Waters don't always go with a gush. Mine went on the loo so I wasn't sure and the midwife I saw yesterday said hers came out slowly.

They can test the fluid to find out if it's amniotic fluid or not.

I had this and in my case it was watery discharge which has continued right the way through! Best to get checked if you're concerned

Haven't had any more today... I'm going to keep an eye on it and if it returns I'll contact midwife.

I've literally been on the labour ward twice this week for this because I'm so panicky! I've been having wet patches in my underwear and damp underwear and it's like a clear liquid and I was so scared that it was my waters, I didn't have a gush or a trickle either. But baby has good amount of fluid around him and I tested negative for waters breaking - it seems to be that I have a bit of a UTI and thrush and they're not really sure if that's causing the watery discharge or if it's just a random pregnancy thing. They said usually if it's your waters and they're not gushing, you can lay down and when you sit up after a little while you'll usually feel like a bit of a gush then - they said it almost feels like a period?

Not had any more today really, just a bit of white discharge which I normally get anyway. Baby is kicking away so hopefully everything is fine. Seeing midwife on 30th so will mention it then.
