Hi I'm 37+4 for the last day every time I cough, sneeze, etc I keep getting large gushes I know some is wee by the scent but surely not straight after I go to the toilet? Don't want to go and waste anyone's time but it's weird my third baby too

If your waters had broken, wouldn’t it be a constant trickle? I don’t think it can stop once it’s started. Sounds like you’re maybe not fully emptying your bladder when you pee, which is fairly common. Next time you go, wait a few seconds after you’ve finished and then try to go again. You may find some more comes out, and you won’t lose so much control when you cough or sneeze. Makes sense for a third pregnancy tbh - your pelvic floor has taken quite a few beatings! But do call your midwife for peace of mind if this continues.

I suspect it is wee. If it was waters you would probably be feeling damp most of the time. However as with all things pregnancy it is best to phone the midwife and ask them if they want to see you.

Fwiw When my waters went early they had me lay still on the bed for 10 minutes and see if any waters pooled in my vag. The pooling indicated it was obviously waters not wee.

I felt very damp for a good few days before going into labour - but I absolutely knew when my waters finally went. Beforehand my underwear would be damp/wet all the time for about a week, but it never smelled of wee. Once my waters actually went (with an audible pop!!) it was a constant stream and I cannot explain how much bloody water was in there!! Good luck OP!

If it's you think it's your waters they usually advise to put a pad on and lay down for hr if you get up and it's wet then ring to get checked ...
I was laid down when mine went and you could hear a pop and then I stood up (tmi) it literally gushed 🤣 and then didn't stop, I was already in early labour at this point

Good luck op!
