Can't sleep properly, all itchy, have weird red rash on chest, maternity bras don't fit any more and have terrible pain under my right breast and corresponding back pain.

Have been relentlessly positive so far, just wanted to rant.

cool bath followed by calamine for the itchiness, might be ok to take piriton, check with pharmacy.... treat self to new bra and get DH to rub your back....

then lie down with a mahoosive bar of chocolate

Not sure how pg you are, but bad pain under your ribs can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia; also intense itching is a symptom of obstetric cholestasis - sorry don't mean to sound like a harbinger of doom, think it is very unlikely to be either of these, but if you haven't told you mw/gp about both these things it might be a good idea to give one of them a ring and get your bp/urine checked.

Apologise if I have missed something and you already have.

Otherwise I second lulumama, especially about the chocolate!

22wks - Saw MW on Monday and BP and urine both fine. Hands aren't swollen at all and I've no other symptoms of OC. There's nothing actually wrong, just feeling a bit over it all! Followed Lulumama's advice to the letter yesterday and feeling much better today, so thank you LM!

Had one of those days myself yesterday Fleacircus, have had v.straightforward pregnancy (27 + 5) and have been feeling great but yesterday decided I had backache, headache, sore ribs, water infection, fed-up of going to the loo, tired, fed-up of bumping into things, can't get comfy, nothing fits - winge, moan, grump . DH was v.philisophical ("I suppose this is the start of things..." Glad you are feeling better.

Lulumama rocks and kept me sane between my waters breaking and actually going to the hospital!

I think in Pregancy you have good and bad days sometimes the bad (being I feel like crap, I look crap, I just want it all over, I want my body back, I want to sleep properly etc...) are all normal sometimes it seems like pregnancy will never end (or it did to me) and after I reflect and think of all the things I miss of being 2 instead of 3 but I wouldnt change a thing DD is gorge obviously I am biased
