Hi ladies, hope you can give me some idea of what’s happening.

I had my BFP on 29th November. Then bright red bleed on 4th Dec. Scan at EPU at approx 5 weeks where Bleeding had stopped and only occasional brown spotting. I’ve had no cramps but have had very light pink mucus discharge. EPU scan could only pick up a pregnancy and a SCH (bleed) as too early for heartbeat. I have since (last 1.5 weeks) had some nausea and thrown up a couple of times. But today I feel nothing. No symptoms. Only very slight sore boobs. My first pregnancy I had hyperemisis but this time round it feels different.

Could I have had a missed miscarriage?

I’m terrified now.

The EPU couldn’t book me in next week because of xmas so now I have to wait till NYE.

Any experiences please ladies? Please share.

Thank you x

Sorry I don’t have any advice for you but at that time I was having severe cramps to the point it was a suspected ectopic, my levels were low and there was no yolk sac let alone a heartbeat. I also had no symptoms for a while, I don’t think they really started until around 8/9 weeks? I’m now 22+3 expecting a little boy. I hope it works out for you x

Thanks for sharing ladies. That reassured me a little. Still worried but can only wait and see.

I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Would they do an impromptu scan if I asked? Probably not Confused

If you’re appointment is at hospital you might be lucky but don’t worry if they don’t.
I know they say bleeding during pregnancy is an unusual event but it happens to 50% of pregnancies and once you get to seven weeks the risk of miscarriage drops significantly especially if you’re not ancient
I did a lot of googling and worrying during pregnancy really unnecessary with hindsight. As soon as I’d stopped fretting about miscarriage, I started worrying about birth.
