This may seem silly but need too know😂
heard mixed reviews about this so I'm not 100% sure however, I know that some essential oils are too be avoided during pregnancy. I am 34 weeks pregnant and want to be on the safe side but a family member has made me a little hamper set and one of the products that was in there was the Radox Pink Grapefruit&Basil Shower Gel (which I will be using as bubble bath if it's safe)

So my question is, would this product be okay to use or shall I take precaution and not use it with only being 34 weeks?
Thank You X

I use radox shower gel/ bubble bath always have... It's never even crossed my mind that you can't use it during pregnancy 🤔 35 weeks nearly and baby is absolutely fine.

@Boymummy3 it didn't cross my mind until a friend mentioned it too me and then I started working myself up with google😂I just know that some aren't safe (the Sage one mainly) but I know that there a few essential oils that need to be avoided until 37 weeks, and Basil was one of them so thought it'd be worth too ask it.
Thank You x

Believe me, once you get past 37 weeks you'll be slathering yourself in clary sage lol. I just bought some to swirl into my bath tonight :)

@aliensprig oh I can't wait too get to that stage!! But was a bit scared about using the shower gel as bubble bath at 34 weeks but I've done it so fingers crossed it doesn't do anything😂x

I wouldn’t worry! The amounts of basil are likely to be similar to the amounts of clary sage in this one which isn’t a problem

@annalisesm2905 well you learn something new everyday. Google has a lot to answer for esp for stressing us mummy to be's out doesn't it. Enjoy your bath I don't think a little bit would do any harm xx

If your going to worry dont use it until after u have your baby. I stopped using so much with this pregnancy, i have had my baby now,my advice is dont google anything as it will make u crazy just go by the nhs or ask your midwife.
