Kari me wrap is good.

Don't know of bf books but I can give you a tip for latching. So if you are going to feed from the left side, hold baby in right arm and use right hand to control the baby's head at the base . With your left hand hold your boob and brush babies lips with nipple until baby has a big wide mouth, at that point with the right hand you push the head in and the baby needs to take a big mouthful of nipple then suckle. If it doesn't work you slip your pinkie in the side of the mouth to break suction and detach then try again. Feed from one side until you feel a difference in the tongue movements, it will feel like flickering at the end of that feed, that is when the fatty hind milk is coming out, baby may fall asleep now, have a small break and burp the baby then put on the other side for the same process.

Thank you🤗

I didnt get much help at the hospital last time, i just wanted to get home so didnt ask either! There was much more to it than i ever considered, i found my baby was constantly trying to feed and cried lots, i felt overwhelmed.

Best thing is to go to a sling library. If you can't then a close caboo is easy and quick for the first couple of months.

I found the Kelly mom website much better than any book. I think the most important thing with breastfeeding is understanding what is normal and just how frequently newborns feed!
