Nearly 38 weeks pregnant and have the worst heartburn Sad

Can anyone suggest anything to help? I've tried Gaviscon and hasn't made any difference

Go to your GP as they can prescribe you Rinitidine tablets.

Although, I found that for me the liquid Gaviscon wouldn't do much, but the chewable tablets were much better.

I've been using Tums.. I cant stand gaviscon also apparently drinking Hot water helps. Make sure you limit the likes of milk as it can make it worse. I literally down water all night because it gets so bad. X

@R2D2abc unfortunately ranitidine is unavailable at the moment, it was recalled by some companies and there's also been a manufacturing shortage. Can't buy it in the shops and even the chemist doesn't have it - I've been changed into cimetidine
