Anyone pregnant with rheumatoid arthritis?

I didn't think my rheumatoid arthritis would affect my pregnancy. But the midwife has put me under consultant led care because of it. I've not met with the consultant yet, but curious to see if anyone else in the same position. I'm not taking any medication at the moment and my arthritis has been perfectly fine since I've been pregnant (which apparently is common).

I am in a similar position, I have psoriatic athritis which is similar to rheumatoid in my joints.

I am consultant led for a few reasons but that was the first condition I mentioned to the midwife at my booking appointment and she said I'd be consultant led before I told her about the rest.

I met the consultant this week and they mentioned its just to make sure I am ok with the relaxin hormone that affects joints and making sure mine bare the weight of pregnancy okay Smile
Most people find theirs gets better during pregnancy but some peoples can stay the same or get worse so I think its just to look after us.

Also because im currently having a flare up she said they will consider steriod shots during labour to help me but I forgot to ask questions about that because we were on about my other conditions too which I was more worried about, oops
