Hi,
I am 21 weeks with first and have been very sick and tired throughout pregnancy so far. Work is understanding and i was off for 7 weeks in first trimester and am back part time working from home (but i have good days and lots of bad days). Finding pregnancy hard because feeling useless (finding cant do normal everyday activites) and still being sick on a regular basis (so travelling to work is out of he question). On anti sickness which doesnt seem to do anything other than make me sleep. Feeling really low in mood. Is there anyone else out there going through the same? I just dont know whether i am going to cope mentally like this for another 4 months and whilst working is a nice distraction i can be honest and admit that sometimes it is just too much! Do i go offsick? What can i do so i dont mentally drive myself mad? I cant watch anymore netflix! Does anyone have any advice or words of wisdom?

Hi Smile I'm 14 weeks pregnant so quite a bit behind you but I know exactly how you are feeling! I have also been very sick and off work since I was 6 weeks. It's so incredibly hard, I see lots of pregnant people out and about doing things and I feel so useless most of the time! Some days I can't even put some washing on, I just lay in bed feeling awful.

I try to think that this won't last forever and before I know it I will have my baby and that's so exciting Smile

I am going back to work after the Christmas break but I'm not going to push myself, if I'm not coping I will go back off. You must do what feels best for you Smile your body is doing an amazing job so look after yourself!
