Can I have a facial? It's a mini-green peel which is basically nettles (v good for clearing the skin and my hormones have made me so spotty.)

My experience is nothing is advised in the first trimester not even facials or hair colouring I don't - for a number of reasons -smells can make you feel sick and nobody is prepared to take responsiblity so I would say do nothing until you are safely in your second trimester and then most salons will be cool with facials and massages etc etc - good luck and enjoy or pregnancy it goes so quickly!!!!

When you are pregnant you are MUCH more likely to react to things - so best leave it a little while. If you need to do a face pack, porridge oats and yoghurt will cleanse and clarify without the risk. Although you may well feel inclined to eat the mixture.

i would have thought as long as you tell them you are pregnant, and there is no aromatherapy involved, ?
