Hi..
So I am freaking out although I'm hoping I'm just being irrational. I cooked some mince Beef, I tried it for about 8-10 mins and there was no pink remaining from what I saw. I then added tomato sauce, seasoned it and brought it to a light boil for a few mins. I then tasted it. Problem is, it wasn't piping hot when I tasted it, and now I'm worrying that I didn't cook the beef long enough. Before being pregnant I wouldn't give slightly undercooked beef a second thought and have always cooked this way. Does anyone think I could contract toxoplasmosis or food poisoning? I am so worried and so exhausted from constantly worrying :(

No you will be fine it's extremely rare to catch toxoplasmosis from undercooked beef, and if you fried it it will be fine, adding stuff had probably cooled it down so it wasn't piping hot to the taste!

The risk is low. It will most likely be OK.
FWIW in the time before conceiving DS and discovering I was pregnant I had eaten and drunk everything on the then banned list, except shellfish as I'm not keen on it.
It's exhausting to be worried about every tiny risk, be kind to yourself on this one OP.
