Gender scan

Hi! I went for an early gender scan at 16 weeks (because I'm impatient) to be told we are having a boy. Today I had my 20 week scan to be told we are having a girl! Now I don't know what to think! Keen to hear from others if they have ever had a similar thing happen to them?

It didn't happen to me, they always got it correctly from 16.

But what I wanted to say is that at this point if you really want to know you could do another private scan in a few weeks. They could have got it wrong either way, 16 sometimes it's early to be 100% as the sex organs aren't yet descended in their final place yet, 20 also can get it wrong, similar reason. They can also be a bit swollen, girls parts I mean, and get confused with boys parts.

In my opinion it's easier to get wrong the girls as might be a boy but not yet developed well intimate parts.

Hope you'll find out soon.
