Hello all, I am struging with CFS symptomes for 1 year now and currently week 6 feeling dreadful. Since one month all symptoms got worse especially dizziness and derealization. Has anyone got better anytime during pregnancy? Or should I expect the worst as long as hormones keep increasing? Thx

We're just bumping this thread for you, @Miss1986, in case anyone's around to give you some advice and reassurance.

Hi, I can’t give any reassurance yet as I’m only 5 weeks pregnant but I have CFS and fibromyalgia! My doctor yesterday told me many women see an improvement during pregnancy though!

Hi, I have CFS and Fibromyalgia, too. I'm 19 weeks and have so far found the first-trimester exhaustion probably tripling because of the CFS/Pain, however now I'm in the second trimester I'm feeling a lot better and I would say my exhaustion/pain levels have gone back to my 'normal'. Like PP have said some find pregnancy eases symptoms.

I have CFS and am now 41 weeks but have to be honest, have found pregnancy exhausting - especially the first trimester. However, get your midwife to check your iron/ferritin levels as mine were so low so I had a couple of iron infusions- however this wasn't picked up till much later on so could have had a lot earlier. Just nap when you can and if you are working, try not to worry too much about work - you have to put yourself first. Best of luck xx
