Painful and smelly down there since having sex

13 weeks pregnant and recently had sex with my husband for the first time since probably falling pregnant. Since having sex I’m sore down there and I have a strong fishy/smelly odour. Has anyone else had this problem

Sounds like BV however id go to the doctors if you've got pain aswell as it could be an infection that needs treating.

Speak to your GP. You possibly have BV - caused by a PH imbalance. It’s quite common especially in pregnancy and more noticeable after intercourse. They will likely give you something to clear it up. You can buy things over the counter for it also, but I’d avoid that in pregnancy and speak to your Doctor.

Oh bloody hell, I’ve already had treatment for BV. I’ll go back to the drs tomorrow
