TMI warning.

I'm 5+2 today and when I've been wiping this morning there's been brown discharge / old blood it looks exactly what I'd usually get before my period. If I wasn't pregnant I would be on my period right now. I never had this with my first pregnancy.

It's only there when I wipe and not on my pants.

I know I can't get a definite answer of what it is here, I haven't contacted my GP yet. I'm just looking for experiences of this because I'm absolutely terrified of loosing this baby Sad

Hi congratulations on your pregnancy I had the same brown spotting when I would have been on my period and was really really worried but midwife reassured me and said it was old blood and absolutely normal I also had it again a couple of weeks later, as long as its not red and no pain its really common some ladies have spotting all the way through the pregnancy. Please don't worry just relax and enjoy your pregnancy. X

Thank you that's really reassuring , I'm so paranoid this time around I almost wish I didn't find out so early.

Your reply was really lovely. Thank you Smile
