Advice on Asprin during pregnancy?

I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, this is my third pregnancy within the last 12 months I have had two previous early losses. I was told to take 75mg Asprin during this pregnancy and so far so good. This is the only thing I have done differently. The midwife has told me to start taking 150mg due to new research this is now the new recommended dose. I am really reluctant to up to dose and change anything at all because this is the furthest I have ever got in any of my pregnancies. I have no known clotting disorder etc. I was just told to take it to maybe prevent another loss. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any advice?

I took aspirin with my second. I'd had two losses and one full term before this. I was told I had to take it because they 'thought' my first baby was small and this would help growth. I can't remember the dosage but everything was fine with my baby. She was a lot bigger than my first but that could of been down to a lot of factors.

I’ve take 2x75mg since around 8 weeks when I first seen midwife. Been totally fine. 13weeks today x

I'd take the midwives advice personally. They wouldn't suggest something if it wasn't safe x

I take 150mg aspirin following recurrent miscarriage - have done since 8 weeks, now 30 weeks and all fine. It is based on the latest research which does show the higher dose is much better. But if you have any questions chat to your midwife.

I've been on aspirin since week 12 (150mg at my own request instead of the initial 75 suggested due to having read the studies and my consultants agreed with me) Research shows a significant number of woman dont respond to lower than 150mg hence new guidelines. In america the aspirin quantity has always been a 'baby aspirin' which is actually 162mg as standard. And even in the uk for mums in many trusts the 75mg/150mg doses have been based on risk factors so little risks would have 75mg and highrr/multiple risks would be 150mg.

Hi I've just been prescribed this by two specialist consultants (one obstetric) and a specialist midwife. They said the same thing about new research so I am taking it without hesitation :)
