Did anyone find themselves touching their belly "Before" they knew they were pregnant? My husband I just found out we're expecting again and I'm currently around six weeks. I was on BC but had failure and fell pregnant. I haven't had any symptoms yet (besides my period being absent). I suppose my breasts have been a little more sensitive but around the time that began happening was my usual ovulation schedule and my boobs always get really sore and sensitive when I ovulate. Before I found out I didn't even suspect I might be, like I said, I was on BC.
However, in the weeks before I found out I found myself holding my belly and touching it a lot more. For example, I'd be on the train after work just waiting for my stop and I'd find myself with my hand over my belly. There was no stress or discomfort that would feasibly explain this as a "comfort reflex", just an average train ride home.
Or at the grocery store, I'd be stood reading the packaging on something and find myself cradling my belly. Again, nothing stressful to explain why I'd be doing this protective gesture. It's ultimately what got me questioning if I was pregnant because it's unusual for me to touch my stomach, I hate having my stomach touched, including myself doing it.
So, my question, did anyone here find themselves touching their belly before they found out they were pregnant or even suspected they were?
