So I'm 35w5d pregnant with 1st baby and last night I started feeling really nauseous, it was like morning sickness all over again! Have been vomiting all day, every 40 minutes or so and also have a bit of diarrhoea...feel really run down and crappy now, not sure if it's a stomach bug or a I ate something undercooked or I've read of a few women getting like this a day or so before labour begins... are stomach bugs dangerous during pregnancy? Haven't eaten in like 24h because I can't keep anything down..sipping on water ok though...will I hurt my baby by vomiting so much?...

It sounds like a bug. The Norovirous is everywhere at the moment. Normally food poisoning occurs almost immediately after eating bad food.

Let your midwife know and try to keep as hydrated as possible. I’d you have a temperature then keep an eye on it closely. Vomiting won’t hurt your baby as long as you can keep water down and your temperature isn’t high.
