Hi posting for a friend
She is 7 weeks and 1 day with her 3rd baby. She’s messaged me saying she’s experiencing dark red stringy blood/discharge. Slight period cramps but nothing bad and has had them throughout the pregnancy anyway. I’ve never had this so was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of bleeding and what was the outcome? I’ve told her for now to put a pad on to monitor the bleeding and relax in bed then to go to the early pregnancy unit in the morning. And also to go to a&e if it gets heavier with clots and pain. Is this a symptom of miscarriage? Thanks
