Any recommendations please? Anything that won't be too uncomfy. I'm 36 weeks and can't bear the thought of jeans now let alone after a section.

I wore my maternity leggings that I'd lived in for months haha. Seriously though whatever you have just now that's comfy, maternity clothes are often high waisted so won't annoy your incision.

I got some over the bump jogger type trousers from H&M which are v comfy (and I am still wearing 4 weeks after having my baby!). Good luck with your c section Smile

I’m planning on wearing my maternity leggings as much as possible

Serabi · 16/12/2019 20:29

First handful of days I preferred dresses / nightshirts. I left the hospital in a dress. After day 5/6 my maternity trousers were the
Best for the next two (many many many) months

Still wearing leggings a year on!

I agree with the nighties for the first few days, and then over the bump stuff. Maybe not jeans as that bit where the denim meets the panel will sit just on your scar. Yoga pants with a roll down waistband were great. Plenty of giant pants too.

Just to say, I’m 5 months on and still cannot wear jeans (even mat jeans) as it’s to uncomfortable on my scar.

I liked knowing that everything was secure and covered so lived in my big knickers and maternity leggings.

High waisted yoga pants would be a good option. They’re soft on the waist and won’t dig in. Size up for post c section wear.
