When to count movements

When did you start to feel a regular pattern of movements? I'm 24+2 and still don't have a regular pattern. Some days he kicks and moves loads but then other days I hardly feel any movements! At what point should I start feeling a routine and worrying if there's not much movement?

I'm 24+5 and feel the same. Yesterday hardly any movement and then today esp this afternoon and evening loads of movement.
Yesterday I nearly panicked as I hadn't felt him move as much as I am used to.
I'm seeing gp Wednesday so gonna ask them about it to get some reassurance.

It’s 28 weeks. You’ll be amazed how much regularity you’ll start to notice in the next month!

I was told from 28 onwards I should notice a pattern. So before that, I just kind of made sure I felt a little something very day. Then as time progressed, I tried to make sure I felt something at some points in the day. Usually morning, midday, afternoon and evening. Just to put my mind at rest.

Now I feel something every 2-3 hours. Sometimes a lot more. It might be continuous for a while and then stop. But I check in every 2-3 hours. If I went without movement for more than 4-5 hours, that would be unusual for me- unless I'm very very busy that day. I write down times I feel stuff on my phone, so that I always kind of know and don't panic.

I hope that helps ? At 24 weeks, it doesn't need to have a pattern yet.
