When to stop using progesterone cream after BFP

Hi,

I had a miscarriage in September and since then have had a short luteal please (approx 7-8 days). This month, I tried using progesterone cream to extend it and lo and behold I got my BFP. I’m wondering when other people who used progesterone in the early stages stopped using it? I’m worried that if I stop, my progesterone levels will plummet and I’ll miscarry. At the same time, I’m also worried about artificially heightening progesterone levels now that I’m pregnant. In fact, there is a warning on the pump that the cream should not be used in pregnancy Confused. Any advice would be much appreciated! I live in a part of London where it’s impossible to get a doctor’s appointment at short notice and my doctor seems to be pretty clueless about all things pregnancy anyway.

Thanks,

Bettymoo

Never used so sorry can't comment as such but if it says not to use in pregnancy then I'd stop using it.

I took progesterone suppositories until 12 weeks. My Gp was useless and refused to advise but I took advice from people on here and carried on taking until then. Good luck!
