Nice bfp stories after an MMC please!

Took nearly 2.5 years to conceive DC1. When he was 18 months old, I fell pregnant again but had an MMC at 8 weeks. Never saw a heartbeat so just one of those things.

That was a year ago. I've just had another BFP on Thursday, confirmed with a blood test on Friday (65mIU/ml, I wish it were higher!) so I'm about 4+3.

Pretty paranoid that this one might go awry too. It takes me so long to conceive that I'm crossing fingers, eyes and legs that it works out. I can't have a scan until early January so nothing to do until then but worry wait.

Tell me your positive post-MMC stories please!

Sorry to hear about your mmc. I had one may that started at 8 weeks but didnt pass the baby til 12 weeks. I waited a month for my period before trying again and thankfully got pregnant again in august. Having that first experience made me so paranoid this time so I had scans at 7 weeks, 8.5weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks, 14 weeks, 17 weeks and 20 weeks. Sounds a lot now but I needed that reassurance. I'm now 23 weeks and hopeful that everything will be ok, as I'm sure yours will be. Try to stay positive.

Hello 😊
I had a mmc last year November/December and I found out 3 weeks ago that I am pregnant again! So I'm currently 7 weeks.
It's been the longest 3 weeks of my life lol.

I had a early scan Tuesday of this week and seen heartbeat which was nice! Booked another scan for when I'll be just over 8 weeks for more peace of mind!

I really am sure that you'll be fine this time. These early weeks are so worrying 😩. Positive thoughts 😊😊😊

I have also just found out I'm pregnant after a MMC in July. Found at 12 week scan that the baby was only 7 weeks. Congratulations by the way! Thanks
I am a bit scared that it may happen again but trying to stay positive. I know the odds are the same as someone who has never had a mc and I am just going to try and enjoy being pregnant while I am. I don't believe that being positive now will make it hurt any more if we do lose this one and being pregnant is all I have wanted for so long! I have taken it as a very good thing that we have had a positive again, I was starting to consider going to the drs for tests next year and getting v stressed about the whole thing.
Try to stay calm and believe in your body, and take every day at a time. You are pregnant today and that is all that matters right now.

@jdy123 Congratulations! would you say 7 weeks is about right for an early scan? I will have to go private so wanting to book it for a time when I know I will see something / hear the heartbeat for sure.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant following a missed miscarriage. Mine wasn't detected until 13 week scan and I had seen a heartbeat at around 6 weeks so I know I'm going to be anxious until I get past the dating scan.

I've had a lot of private scans and have another booked for this week. I've convinced myself it's happened again. I had a really vivid dream last night that I was bleeding.

Toll on January!
