12 week scan - questions?

Hi all, the week has finally arrived for my 12 week scan, nervous but excited, I found out at 4 weeks so it's been a loooong time coming! I was wondering what questions people asked the midwife at their 12 week scan? I'm so bad at being prepared for this type of thing I know I'll walk out and think of a million questions after the fact!

Yay! Congrats, I remember you commented on my thread back when we were almost 5 weeks or so! It has been a long time coming, I’ve also got my 12 week scan on Thursday, so can’t give you any advice other than good luck!

I had my 12 week scan at hospital there was a sonographer no midwife. I asked if baby was healthy and basically what they would expect at this stage. To be fair I was so ill and just staring at the screen in amazement I couldn't ask anything. Had the screening done he said the measurement was indicating very low risk and everything looked really good.

It will be a sonographer not a midwife and tbh I wouldn't really say there are any questions as such to ask.. They tell you what they see so healthy heartbeat etc etc if something is wrong they will also say and also will tell you what your measuring at so obv your edd. X

Thanks all, I should have mentioned I'm in Northern Ireland so my scan is also my booking in with midwife so I was thinking questions for midwife too as well as during the actual scan.
