Induction day ahhhh nervous!!!!!!

So the day is finally here my induction is booked in for today have to call late this afternoon to see if my bed is ready hardly slept all night thinking about it also been having period type cramps on and off all night and morning trying to get the last bits sorted what I need to do dont understand why I'm feeling so nervous I've been through induction twice before it's just the fear of not knowing how things will go cant wait to see my little baby for the first time tho Smile

Thank you I hope so too I keep telling my self baby has to come out one way or another and will all be worth it once his here trying to keep my self busy to pass the hours away

Please update, I'm booked in for tomorrow and keep swinging from excited to nervous and scared. Feel like I'm just hanging about now triple checking all my bags are packed.

Good luck, I was induced too and this was my first labour and she arrived 3.5 hours after stating the process! Just remain calm and hydrated.

Cant believe I've waited all day until 4 to phone them and now there saying my bed isnt ready until half 8 tonight what a joke hate waiting around makes my nerves worse the Joy's of induction its alot of waiting around,

Well I'm in here now been monitored but they said still cant start me yet they said could be early hours in the morning my partners had to go home so I'm stuck here alone upset hate hospitals I wanna be back home with my kids :(

@Jowd92 i hope they have at least started you off by now 😥 even better if you have your gorgeous boy in your arms🤞🏻.. id be the same too! I hope my labours quick and straight forward so i can be home asap with my other children xx

Still waiting it's a joke all they have done is monitoring still nothing about being started I'm not happy :( thank you me too I just hope once they actualy decide to start me it all goes okay and quick I want to go home

On my induction, I was in overnight (being woken up every few hours for checks!) and I finally got the first pessary at 11.30 am the following day.
Then nothing happened for ages. I hope DH can visit you all day tomorrow and brings you lots of tasty snacks.

Still nothing as of yet and these hospital beds are so uncomfortable I'm really going they do something this morning ain't waiting around all day again yes my partner can come back from 9 this morning so he will probably come then cant wait

oh thats rubbish! I bet you have had a sleepless night when actually you could have been in your own bed at home :(
I had induction with my first, i understand.

Please keep us updated - I wish you all the luck, perhaps they have started you off by now (fingers crossed)

Still here they inserted pessary at half 5 last night been having contractions on and off all morning off for a hot bath soon and hopefully have baby today I pray!!!! I had to have a canula fitted yesterday which hurt like hell and had fluids so done with being here now I just want it over

My little man arrived today 00:38am weighing 6lb 3oz after the worst labour by far ended up in theatre with forceps delivery so glad it is all over now and I have my beautiful little boy
