Has anyone had their 20 week scan and been told one of babies measurements were smaller/bigger than expected but it turned out everything had evened out by the next scan/birth? Do babies at this stage have growth spurts for different parts of the body at different stages and it was just that one part had either grown first or caught up afterwards?

My babys abdomen has measured bigger since my 20wk scan over the top line compared to his head & legs and has Continued to measure bigger than the rest of him ever since.. Been told he's just a big baby with a chubby belly x

DD’s femurs measured short (under 10th centile) at our 20-week scan, we went for a private growth scan at 30 weeks and they had caught up and were around 50th centile. She’s 2 now and still a petite child with little legs.

We were told that babies A/C was above 95th centile but the sonographer didn’t say much other than I will possibly need another scan at 30 ish weeks. However when we had a private scan about 10 days before hand they took all the same measurements and didn’t mention a thing. Worrying that baby will be huge, especially after horrible labour before with DC1 who was 8lb but told was big for the size of my pelvis Confused
