Hi, looking for a bit of advice I'm 35 weeks pregnant today, this is my first pregnancy and I've been told I'm having a "big" baby. For the past week or so I've been experiencing period like cramps and tightening across my lower abdomen. I've also had some greeny mucus coming out in bits for the past week also, Am I getting ready to go into labour or totally overthinking it! Thanks x

Watching because I am exactly the same....35 weeks and baby is measuring over 95th centile. I have also been getting discharge, cramps and tightening, I think it is normal at this stage...this is baby number 2, but my previous one was no where near as big and I had to be induced at 12 days over due so I have no idea what going into labour naturally is like!

Pretty normal and unfortunately doesn't mean labour is near.. It could still be weeks yet. Everyone is different though baby no3 for me and ive been pretty much same since 32 weeks. Nearly 34 weeks now. It's the pain that is end of pregnancy x

Thanks for the replies, just so uncomfortable at this stage in pregnancy, roll on January. Been hearing different things because he's big I might not go full term then hearing I'll probably go over. Hoping to go on time so fingers crossed. Good luck to you both x
