Hi ladies,

Would you recommend the full NCT course? The course itself looks good, two full days plus a half day for myself and my partner and then the additional breast feeding session for me. But it's almost £230, is it worth it?

I found the course itself helpful although it wasn’t anything I couldn’t have learnt on my own. The real value for me was the group of mum friends I made who I catch up with weekly and speak to over WhatsApp daily, and the way that my DH could learn more about birth and how to support me. He found it extremely helpful.

Agree! The real value is a group of mum friends, especially helpful in those early days. I did really enjoy the course and felt like I'd learned loads.... although looking back I don't think I really learned anything I couldn't read in a book, lots of the important stuff you just pick up as you go along!
