Hi everyone,

bad cold, a bit achy and
sore throat. Can i take lemsip, it has 500mg of paracetamol.

Paracetamol on its own, yes. Lemsip no because of the decongestant.

Paracetamol is safe in pregnancy, i'm not sure about the lemsip though. I was told by my Dr to just make a honey and lemon and take normal paracetamol when i had a cold ect

If it’s the lemsip with only paracetamol in, that’s fine. If it’s the one with other stuff in (I think it’s the max flu one) then no

I got told absolutley nothing apart from paracetamol and jakemans sweets for sore throat etc
