Very faint positive or an evap line?

Hi guys,

So I took a pregnancy test yesterday (I was 8dpo) and it said the results should show in 10 mins. Well after about 15 mins I had the faintest line appear, and it was pinkish not grey. Is this a faint positive, or an evap line? It’s driving me crazy. It’s so faint you can barely see it - my husband said there was nothing there but my best friend could definitely see a very faint pink line. The same thing happened this morning (9dpo).

Unfortunately I can’t add a photo because I don’t have the option to attach anything (maybe because I’m new).

I’ve also been having loads of symptoms - bloating, breast soreness, a pinching cramp sensation, and I’m pretty sure I had an implantation bleed about 5 days ago (a tiny amount of pink/brown CM.

Anyone else had this and turned out to be pregnant?

15 minutes is a very long time to wait?? My lines have always shown at 9dpo and have been so faint you have to hold them up to the light, but they appeared instantly. Test again

@legalseagull I think I was just staring at after 10 mins hoping to find a line until it eventually appeared. It got slightly darker after that too. It was just an online cheapie so I got some first response tests earlier that I’ll try later today and tomorrow morning

@Melbs6 good luck sounds promising.

Deffinately try a different test as if you go back to any tests after the time frame you will most likely see a line as it drys out. That's why they give you the time limit. Usually they are 3-5 minutes I'm sure that's what a frer is. Good luck x

I wouldn’t recommend online cheapie for pregnancy test. They arent that reliable...
i am over 5 weeks and still get faint line when any other test gives me super dark immediate lines.

Invest in boots or first response, it will take away the worry/ one way or another.

Hope it’s the good way :)

Its hard to say without seeing the test. When I've tested from around 9/10dpo, when using a Frer, I've always had solid obvious lines. But with my last pregnancy I tested at 9dpo on a cheap Home Bargains test and got a faint line that did take about 5 mins to appear and it was a positive for me. So I would retest using a First Response or use the same tests but retest each day. If you are pregnant it will only go darker.

So I’ve just tested again using another internet cheapie and a FRER - they both came back with a faint pink line within 3 minutes, and it’s about twice as strong as yesterday so I’m feeling a lot more positive about it Grin
