Bleeding During Pregnancy - Positive Stories Please!

Hi all,

I am currently 9 weeks and I have experienced some bleeding. I had slight spotting on Weds which stopped, nothing overnight, some blood Thurs AM (only when I wiped, sorry if TMI!) nothing all day and then I've woken up today with slightly heavier bleeding (still not going onto pad!)

I had my booking apt yesterday and Midwife wasn't concerned as there was no pain, but I am booked into EPU for a scan on Monday morning.

I am still having no pain but I'm terrified I am going to miscarry, I would really appreciate any positive stories to get me through the weekend.

Thank you in advance xx

Bled for a while in this pregnancy, i had a subchorionic haematoma and a slightly weird shaped uterus (so i've been toldGrin) i lost brown/red/pink blood and clots but i'm currently 40+5 and impatiently waiting!

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have had 5 separate days of spotting during my pregnancy (2 days the first time, and 3 days the second). Baby was fine both times. Apparently c. 25% of women get some bleeding during pregnancy. Definitely best to get checked, but try not to worry!

Thank you - I keep thinking I have cramps but I honestly think it's anxiety more than anything else!! Congratulations on your pregnancies x

I had quite a big bleed at 9 weeks. Was convinced I was miscarrying. Scan at EPU a few days later showed that everything was completely fine. He was born last month.

Oh the wait is awful.
I had a really big bleed at 12 weeks and it was bright red and lasted for about 48 hours then changed to a brownish colour.
I now have a cheeky beautiful 5 month old 🥰.
Fingers crossed for you OP. My midwife once said it isn't uncommon to bleed in pregnancy and there was no reason for mine just one of those things.

I bled all the way through my pregnancy and my ds is coming home from uni today for Christmas x

One thing I would say is, stay well away from Google - you’ll drive yourself crazy (I’ve been there!) Try and keep busy and occupied this weekend and Monday will be here before you know it. Fingers crossed OP, as others have said, it could be absolutely nothing x

Google has probably been what's gotten me so worked up!! Thank you ladies x

I bled between week 7 and week 13, now 23+3 and had no bleeding since. I have got a low lying placenta which is probably why I had the bleeds ☺️

Thanks ladies - I've gone from hysterically crying this morning to feeling much better. Bleeding has stopped for now too which I imagine is a good sign x
