So my mum and a few others in my family suffer from diabetes so therefore I need to have the GTT test. My mum has a machine to check her blood sugar levels and we checked mine just out of curiosity my blood sugar level came back as 10.2 this was two hours after eating which my mum said was high I have my test already booked for next Friday but I was wondering if I should I bother to contact my midwife and tell her about the sugar level I got or just wait for my test next week?

It is high; I wouldn’t bother contacting your midwife as you’re having the test. Try to keep to a low GI diet.

I would wait with any conclusions until you’ve done your test. When I did mine I was told that results depended on the week of pregnancy (something like this). It’s about 15 years ago so might be different now. Try eat healthily so far and cut sugar. Hope everything will be fine!

@Sharonthetotallyinsane @greenlynx thank you will do that
