What did/does everyone call their bump/baby.

We had a scan today and saw the baby for the first time.

Fat.

Or baby when I’m not feeling self conscious.

Gizmo. The first picture we saw (no of the actual baby) which said "your baby looks like this today" looked like a gremlin who had eaten after midnight. It sort of stuck.

Nothing. Annoying bump?! Because I cant lie on my front to sleep or eat the cheeses I want at christmas?

Pip, because when we first found out about her and downloaded an app to track her progress, it said she was the size of an apple pip

Only newly pregnant but so far ‘the dot’ seems to be favoured. I’m sure as the bump gets bigger ‘dot’ won’t be quite so accurate!

Bump 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve never named either of my bumps nor babies in womb. Other than their actual names once decided.

Bubble. In a freaky coincidence, it was also his first word!

My baby is called The Alien. Rather bemused my poor midwife, but never mind!

Bumpy - we had IVF and needed family to back off and not know the ins and outs of the pregnancy at that point. We just have updates saying bumpy is fine and progressing well. Even when we knew our boy would be called Charlie, we just wanted something for between us two. Seeing as we shared his conception with 15 or so people at the clinic!!
