Anyone else pregnant with this nasty virus??

Three weeks I've had it now and 30 weeks pregnant. It's miserable, utterly miserable. Such a bad bad headache, earache, sore throat, painful sinuses, cough, no energy etc. Coupled with the usual third trimester exhaustion and symptoms I'm struggling 😢

This time of year I'm usually like a duracell bunny with Christmas etc.

Not quite the same one but ill for 10 weeks with something similar so over half my pregnancy so far (18 weeks). Doctor told me to ‘rest’ which is hard with a 7 & 3 year old 😭

Oh you poor thing. I'm wondering if the gp will prescribe anti virals as the time nears. No way can I give birth like this

me - please tell me your kidding with 3 weeks? im on day 6 and I cant deal with this for another 2+ weeks. Seriously.

I'm 23 weeks and I'm 2 weeks into the horrible virus. I'm suffering so so bad with my sinuses I'm in constant pain. I cried at the last in Boots yesterday as she said the only thing I can take is paracetamol which is doing nothing. I'm going to have to go to the walk in centre at the weekend I think as it's not shifting and I can't carry on like this. I feel for you all it's horrible x

@99GreenBalloons oh I totally feel for you, I had the same thing sore throat and ear ache I had it for just under 4 weeks went to the doctors a few times but they just kept shoving me off saying it takes longer to clear as I'm pregnant and there was nothing they could do it was horrible! Hope you get better soon

I’m 37 weeks and have had really bad sinusitis, can’t breathe so can’t sleep at night and have a toddler to look after. After several doctors appointments I’ve been prescribed antibiotics so hoping they work and I don’t go into labour in the meantime!

I'm 37 weeks and on antibiotics with same symptoms as you it's horrible 😭😭

Sympathies to all. It's horrid. It's killed my Christmas spirit 😭 I thought I might just feel a bit better today. Nope. Not a chance. Im going to quarentine myself!
