6 weeks bleeding

Hi,
I posted a couple of days ago about spotting. This is my first pregnancy and I'm scared. I started bleeding on Friday and had a scan which put me at 5+4 and everything looked normal. Since then the bleeding has gradually got heavier but the doctor pretty much says it can go either way and I will see what my scan says on the 19th.
Im thinking though surely this is a bad sign, implantation bleeding should be getting lighter by now, not heavier? Tia

I know people who have had bleeding and everything was fine, but if it’s getting worse I would definitely go to the early pregnancy unit if possible to get checked again. Thinking of you.

@crb90 I hope it gets better. I'm in the exact same boat. Saw a perfectly found sac on Friday just gone, I've been bleeding for 12 days now, heavy in the morning and then just pink throughout the day (not sure if it's just gravity from standing in the morning, sorry if TMI). I'm back so the EPU on 13/12 for another scan.

If it makes you feel better, it isn't really comforting me though, my midwife said it's fairly common and if your sac is positioned well and is the right shape the odds are more in your favour.

Is your bleeding heavy? I'm needing a pad but I'm only going through one a day

Thank you for your reply. They've done an examination and cervix is closed so fingers crossed. They are going to scan me tomorrow
