Very heightened sense of smell 3 days before period

Hi everyone,

I woke up this afternoon and couldn't stand the smell of onions that were cooking from downstairs. I even asked my fiancé if he could smell them... he said no. Anyway I went out the house and could smell everything and I have a very unusual unpleasant taste in my mouth and have gone off the normal naked smoothie I usually buy. I went back home and as soon as the door opened and I smelt the waft of the onions I ran up stairs and gagged (I wasn't sick) I've been feeling off all day to be honest. Not unwell just feeling off... I really hope I'm pregnant! Anyone else experienced and found out they were pregnant? X

I retched when a 'smelly' man walked past me on the train. My husband looked at me like I was mental, said he didnt smell anything 🙈
Now 15+3 and its calmed down a bit, but my nose is way more sensitive than it used to be.
Even the smell of deodorant makes me gag x

I'm also finding it very hard to eat with having this really unpleasant taste in my mouth I've gone off my usual Tesco meal deal wrap!

Ive basically been on a beige diet (which is so far from the norm) but its all I can stomach, i guess because its so plain!

Even opening the fridge make me vomit several times... even though there was not a lot in it!

Yes, I had this! I walked into a room for a work meeting and there was an overwhelming smell of cucumber. I love the smell and it didn't make me gag but when I commented on it no one else could smell it.

I could smell it throughout the entire meeting. When we were leaving I stopped to chat to someone and realised the smell was stronger and I was standing next to the bin. When I looked down it was empty apart from some crusts and just one slice of cucumber. It smelt like the room was full of them! I found out I was pregnant two days later. Good luck! I hope it's a positive sign for you.

Yes, I had a heightened sense of smell and totally went off tea (which I love) through the whole pregnancy! Fingers crossed for you x
