Cervix short at 18 weeks

Hello
I'm 18 weeks + 5 days pregnant, 1st pregnancy!
I am being consultant led at the moment for previous LLETZ surgery to my cervix a few years ago.
They are measuring my cervix with internal scans every 2/3 weeks.
At 16 weeks it measured 3.2cm
At 18 weeks it measures 3.4cm (not sure how it can grow tbh! or whether it's measured wrong)

I've read this is classed as a short cervix? I'm just abit anxious with it being my first pregnancy. My sister in law went into labour at 22 weeks due to a short cervix and they lost the baby however I don't believe she was having these internal scans etc.

I'm worried about miscarriage/ early labour etc

Has anyone gone through / going through this? What was your experience /birth outcome? Is there anything I can do to help / prevent this? Is sex ok? I haven't been advised not to do anything, but sometimes my experience from healthcare is you don't get told all the information and risks etc.

Thanks SmileSmile

I don't think it's particularly short? What did the consultant say? I've been having cervical checks too due to preterm birth and mine was around 4-3.5cm throughout second trimester and now is about 2.5cm at 35 weeks which is fine for this stage apparently
