Induction process

Been induced with second baby. Does it take a while or can it happen quick! I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
Ready to have baby now✌️

Mine happened quite quickly. I had two propess pessaries six Hours apart which didn't do much but I just chilled and that got me to 3 cm dilated. They then broke my waters and the baby was born in two hours. It was so painful when they broke my waters so if you have that request some gas and air to distract you.

Oh wow! Good on you. Midwife says it can be anything to 2 or 3 days so I'm hoping that this is my second baby and I'm over 41 weeks now that it arrives a bit quicker and not take long. X

Sweep on Saturday, pessary on Monday then more every 24 hours. They broke my waters on Thursday as I was 2cm and baby born Friday at 1am.

I was induced with my dd (first baby) - no need for pessary as was already dilated enough for them to break my waters (thank you sweeps!). Took 24 hours to get a room on labour ward then my waters were broken, I was hooked up to the drip and she arrived 3 hours later!

Oh I'm hoping as it's my second baby things might move a bit more. Fingers crossed! Can't imagine waiting around for like two days for something to happen. X
