We are 6 months pregnant with our 1st baby and have started to look at Prams ! So much choice !

We like the Uppababy Vista, any good/bad reviews on this from parents who have bought it ?

Thanks ! 😀

I love ours and we are not due until january! 🤣

A friend got the other uppababy one with smaller wheels and regretted it as it was very bumpy on footpaths.

The main reason we got ours was that it was what all our friends had.... not so we matched but so that if we got stuck someone could tell us or my parents how to collapse it etc lol.

I've got the uppababy vista . It was given to me so it's the 2015 one. I love it..It is quite heavy but I've heard the newer ones are lighter. The basket is massive and is one of my favourite things about it I can get lots of things in it. I love the built in UV sunshade.

Hi @MrsWilson7 - we were going to get the Vista as my sister has one and loves it, but then she brought it to our house one day and the back wheels just about scraped through the doorway. It's very wide! So take measurements for where you'd want to store it etc.

It’s my favourite thing I own. I’ve had 3 children use it and also had a wide variety of smaller, umbrella prams as well as
a double and it’s streets ahead of them all. Lots of my friends have them too and all love them.

We have the Vista, it has been great.

Best features:

  • Massive basket
  • Sunvisor is attached rolls up into the hood, no faffing with parasols
  • Sturdy
  • Long telescopic handles good for taller parents
  • Can be turned one handed
  • Brake is a press on/off rather than a foot pull, good if you have a bad back
  • Easy to fold
  • Good resale value

It’s brilliant! I bought one back in 2014 and it’s still going strong! Basket is huge, it’s comfortable, you can attach a buggy board or change it to fit 2 children. Love it!

We loved ours with DC1, huge basket underneath that I could fit a massive shop in, really easy to collapse and really smooth on the road. Plus, at the time, it was the only pram that was approved for baby to sleep in overnight due to the ventilation around the bottom of the carrycot, so it could double up as a moses basket (not that we ever used it for that in the end).

But we have since moved into a smaller house and I wish we'd bought something smaller as we have no storage and the Vista is pretty bulky. Plus there is a step up into our house and it weighs a ton! In retrospect I wish I'd bought a YoYo Zen or something similar as they are lighter and more compact.

We bought on for our DD and SIL, though obviously they chose it. It's still going strong six years later and had been in constant use. They've found it useful to also have a cheap stroller but you can't beat the Vista for comfort and storage space.

First timers here too! We’ve just picked up our Vista! We tested a few out and it seemed to tick the boxes -
Big wheels for dog walking
Large basket for all our crap :)
Can be converted to two if you have another baby in the next couple of years
Carry cot and pushchair so will last us up to the little one being 3+
Carry cot is sleep safe so no need for separate Moses basket
Easy to put up and down (I got very frustrated with the bugaboo fox!!)
Wheels can come off so can store smaller and be washed after muddy walks

The one thing I agree with is it is large! It’s quite wide. And I also have to say our baby isn’t born yet so I haven’t used it properly, but hopefully we made the right choice!
You should have a list of the things you know you want and then make sure it ticks all your boxes!
